Tess Critchlow (born June 20, 1995 ) is a Canadian snowboarder . She starts in the snowboard cross discipline.

Career

Critchlow made his debut at Blue Mountain in the Snowboard World Cup in February 2013 and finished in 28th place. At the Snowboard World Championships 2015 on Kreischberg she came in 14th place. In January 2016 she achieved her first top ten placement in the World Cup with sixth place in Feldberg . This was followed by two more top ten results and thus achieved tenth place in the Snowboard Cross World Cup. In March 2016, she became Canadian champion in snowboard cross. In the 2016/17 season she came in 13th place in the Snowboard Cross World Cup. The sixth place in Bansko was her best result of the season in the World Cup. In addition, she and Carle Brenneman came third in the team competition at the World Cup in Veysonnaz . At the Snowboard World Championships 2017 in Sierra Nevada she came in 24th place and at the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 in ninth place.

Critchlow has taken seven victories at the Nor-Am Cup and won the snowboard cross classification in the 2012/13 season.
