action

After his wife was kidnapped by terrorists , the international tycoon Alexander Addington put together a secret team of troubleshooters to help him fight terrorism around the world. He hires Peter Sinclair from Scotland Yard as team leader. They track down the French trick, art and jewelery thief Nicole Beaumont and blackmail her into joining the team because she has valuable connections with criminals. The third team member is Luke Brenner, an American mercenary whom they rescue from a Mexican prison. The other recurring characters from the television series are Bennet, Alexander Addingtons servant, and JJ, Alexander Addingtons pilot.

In season two, Peter Sinclair and Alexander Addington meet French reporter Gabrielle Germont, whom they recruit for the team to prevent them from publishing a report on them. In the third episode of the season, Peter Sinclair and Gabrielle Germont rescue Hector Stone, a US CIA agent and former Navy SEAL whose cover was blown, and offer him to join the team.

The character of Alexander Addington's daughter Suzanne, who designed the team's computer systems, was written out of the series at the beginning of the second season. Suzanne Addington does not appear again until one episode of the third season in which she is played by another actress. In her place, Alexander Addington has a secretary and confidante named Hélène Previn.
