Aufbau West is a German indie rock group from Geseke near Paderborn . Stylistically, they assign their sound to hip-hop .

history

Construction West was founded in February 2010 by Jendrik Leismann, Florian Berres, Martin Kuntze and Sebastian Gödde. In December 2010 they produced their first EP with producer Dennis Scheider, which they released in July 2011 under the title Shots in Ovens . With time to understand , the first video for the EP was released in August. In 2012 they took part in the German Music Council's PopCamp band funding program. In December 2012, Aufbau West released their second EP with the songs Vietnam and The Definitely Worst Choice , which was recorded with Jennifer Weist , the front woman of Jennifer Rostock . In 2013, Aufbau West accompanied Jennifer Rostock's tour alongside Heisskalt as the opening act . In addition to concerts all over Germany, including the Schlossgrabenfest , they were most recently on a tour of the Goethe Institute in Vietnam. The debut album Second Best was also produced by Dennis Scheider and was released in November 2014 on Fleet Musik Hamburg. Another EP was released in 2017 with Die Märchen der Gebrüder Grimmig . The band also shot a music video for the title song, which they call a music documentary because it was secretly recorded during a Pegida demonstration.
