The church belongs to the Hutsul type of wooden churches, like the church in Nyschnij Verbish , which is also part of the world heritage . It consists of cut logs that are laid horizontally. Both structures and the roofs are completely clad or covered with wooden shingles of different sizes. The church is cross-shaped and oriented to the east. The dome rises above the central part of the nave. The small-format windows are set relatively high. Inside there is an iconostasis . The wooden lanterns have wrought iron crosses .

The tower is a mighty, two-story structure over a square floor plan. The domes of the church and tower are octagonal . Circumferential canopies protect the foundations of the two buildings from rain or snow.
