The wooden churches of the Carpathian region in Poland and Ukraine are 16 ostkatholische or Greek Orthodox Churches ( Polish cerkwie ; Ukrainian Церква , Tserkva "church") in the northern Carpathians in present-day southern Poland and western Ukraine that the in the period between 16 . and 19th century and were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List on June 21, 2013 .
