The Church of the Resurrection in Münster is a Protestant church in the east of the city. The foundation stone was laid on Easter 1956, on the feast of the Lord's resurrection. The new building was inaugurated on February 24, 1957 ( Sexagesimae Sunday ).

organ

The organ of the Church of the Resurrection was built in 1986 by the Hillebrand Brothers (Altwarmbüchen) organ building company. The instrument was in the style of North German baroque organs scheduled and has 15 sounding registers (plus three transmissions) on two manuals and pedal . The playing and stop actions are mechanical.

Peal

In the summer of 2009, technical problems with the previous bell were discovered. The three bells cast in 1959 by the Monasterium Eijsbouts company were found to have broken off in the area of the crowns. The cause was the iron reinforcements cast into the crowns at the time, which now endangered the long-term durability. These can rust, the rust then acts like a detonator and this can lead to the bells crashing. Three new bells (chimes h 1 , d 2 and e 2 ) were cast at the company Petit & Gebr. Edelbrock in Gescher and put back into operation in time for Easter 2010.
