A clamping angle is a clamping device that is often used in manufacturing technology and its quality assurance . It is used to fix a workpiece in a perpendicular position to the base on which the mounting bracket is located.

Design

A clamping bracket is a flat metal bracket with two precise, ground surfaces at right angles to one another . Most of the time, the sides are also ground precisely at right angles. It usually has through holes , clamping slots or, like a machine table , T-slots on the two main surfaces for fixing slot nuts .

use

The clamping bracket is often mounted on a machine table in milling machines or drilling machines in order to clamp workpieces and at the same time to align them perpendicularly to the bracket for processing. It is also often used with coordinate measuring machines and on scribing tables to align a workpiece vertically for testing or for scribing for work preparation .
