history
Under Johannes Nitsch , influential interpreters of the Christian pop music scene such as Nicole Vogel , Ulrike Wetter , Jan Vering , Heike Barth , Pat Garcia , Christoph Zehendner , Eberhard Rink and Clemens Bittlinger gathered in the formation Aufwind in the early 1980s . The professional choir made its debut with a concept album entitled Golgatha , which was produced in 1980 by Johannes Nitsch and Nils Kjellström under his Blue Rose label. The group toured throughout Germany as well as Switzerland, Austria and Luxembourg. In 1982 the LP Lebenslieder followed , released on the Abakus record label , and in the same year a live album, a recording of a concert with Jan Vering under the title Jan Vering and Friends: Again live , released by Pila Music . In 1983 the choir released its last album under the title Fundamentales , which was again released by Abakus.
