a.tv | television for augsburg and swabia (formerly augsburg.tv) is a regional television station for the city of Augsburg and the districts of Aichach-Friedberg, Donau-Ries, Dillingen and Günzburg. The station is primarily dedicated to local and regional issues that are important to residents of the Augsburg conurbation . Until December 31, 2006, the station was called "TV Augsburg".

Since January 1, 2012, the shareholders of a.tv GmbH & Co. KG are rt1.media group GmbH with 50.1%, Mediengruppe Sankt Ulrich Verlag with 37.3% and Studio Gong GmbH & Co. Studiobetriebs KG with 12 , 6%. The sister station of augsburg.tv is allgaeu.tv , which is also known as a.tv | television for the allgäu operates.
