August Adolf Gottschalck

August Adolf Gottschalck (born August 28, 1794 in Sondershausen ; † May 25, 1855 there ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born the son of a councilor , Gottschalck studied law in Jena . During his studies he became a member of the original fraternity in 1815 . In 1819 he became secretary, in 1820 assessor at the government and the consistory in Sondershausen, where he became a councilor in 1824, received a seat and vote in 1825 and became a real councilor and consistorial councilor in 1825 . In 1844 he was chairman of the military commission and in 1845 of the tax commission. In 1847 he became deputy government president and was president of the government council in Sondershausen from 1848 to 1850. In 1850 he became the first district administrator of the newly formed Sondershausen district .
