August Christian Gottfried Westrum

August Christian Gottfried Westrum (born July 12, 1798 in Hildesheim , † after 1867 probably there) was a German lawyer and politician.

Life

Westrum studied law at the Friedrichs-Universität Halle and the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen . He became a member of the Corps Teutonia Halle and the Corps Hannovera Göttingen . After studying law in Hildesheim, he represented the city as a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates Assembly of the Kingdom of Hanover , which was dissolved by Ernst August I on June 30, 1841 in the course of the ongoing Hanoverian constitutional conflict . Westrum was a senior court attorney and notary in 1852. In 1854 he became president of the Hildesheim Bar Association.
