August Druckermüller

August Druckenmüller (* 11. July 1840 in Trier ; † 5. December 1896 in Berlin ) was a German engineer and steel - producer in Berlin.

August Druckenmüller studied at the Polytechnic of Zurich engineering . Here he joined the Corps Rhenania in 1861 .

In 1865 he founded a steel construction company in Berlin. This became one of Berlin's oldest bridge , complete and steel building construction companies, which manufactured and assembled steel structures for 137 years and was only dissolved in 2002.

August Druckermüller is buried in the Old St. Matthew Cemetery in Berlin-Schöneberg . In honor of Druckermüller, the bridge of the Sachsendamm over the Berlin city ring , the August -druckmüller-Brücke , was named after him in Berlin-Schöneberg .
