August Loos

August Loos (born August 13, 1888 in Neuenbürg , † January 14, 1968 ) was a German civil servant.

Career

After receiving his doctorate, Loos was district administrator in the Prussian district of Iserlohn from 1919 to 1932 , from June to October 1932 provisional in the district of Nienburg / Weser and from 1932 to 1934 in the district of Liegnitz . From 1934 to 1938 he was the Reich Commissioner of the Monitoring Agency, which later became the Reich Office for Pulp and Paper at the Reich Ministry of Economics, and from 1938 to 1947 he was managing director of the specialist group of lubricants wholesalers and managing director of the Association of German Mineral Oil Wholesalers. From August 1947 to October 1953 he was chief executive of the German District Assembly .
