August Nebe (pedagogue)

August Nebe (born September 28, 1864 ; † April 24, 1943 ) was a German educator.
From 1902 to 1909 he was rector of the Johanneum in Lüneburg , then until 1921 of the Joachimsthal grammar school . During his time, the Joachimsthal Gymnasium was relocated from Berlin-Wilmersdorf to Templin in 1912 . Together with the government master builder Fritz Bräuning from Berlin, he planned the new building in Templin as a family alumni based on the latest educational insights.
From 1921 to 1931 he was director of the Francke Foundations in Halle (Saale) .
His grave is in the town of Halle .
