August Neumann (wood engraver)
August Neumann (* before 1866; † 1908 in Leipzig ) was a German wood engraver and owner of a xylographic studio in Leipzig.
Life
August Neumann was the brother of the engraver Adolf Neumann and , like the latter, signed some of his works with the abbreviation AN , but also with Aug. Neumann .
Neumann's portraits appeared, for example, in Westermann's monthly magazine or in the magazine Die Gartenlaube .
