August Schels

August Schels (born October 7, 1829 in Obergriesbach , † March 4, 1886 in Regensburg ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Schels was a royal district judge and a royal district judge in Regensburg.

He was a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies from 1875 to 1886 for the constituencies of Cham and Landau . From 1871 to 1874 he was a member of the German Reichstag , where he belonged to the center for the constituency Upper Palatinate 4 (Neuenburg vorm Walde) .

Schels was married to a daughter of the paleontologist Ernst Conrad Hassencamp .
