August Wehrmann

August Wehrmann (born February 26, 1894 in Naldorf ; † March 16, 1970 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Wehrmann was the son of a potter. He attended elementary school, then did an apprenticeship as a carpenter in Lemgo and then attended the Lemgo technical center. Between 1915 and 1916 he was a soldier and returned as a war disabled. From 1916 he was a technician and independent master carpenter in Naldorf. He was of Protestant denomination and married.

In the state elections in Lippe in 1921 , he ran at number 11 on the SPD list and, after the formation of the state presidium, was the last SPD member in the Lippe state parliament . He was a member of the state parliament until the end of the 1925 electoral term. From 1923 to 1930 he was mayor of Naldorf. From 1948 to 1967 he was again mayor in Naldorf.
