St-Martin (Le Tiercent)
The Catholic Church of St-Martin in Le Tiercent , a French parish in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region , was originally built in the Romanesque period. The church dedicated to Saint Martin has been classified as a Monument historique since 1926 .
architecture
The south wall of the nave and the west and east gables have been preserved from the Romanesque building . The choir head , flanked at the corners by two flat buttresses , is illuminated by two arched windows. A Romanesque portal is protected by a porch on the south side .
Furnishing
Of the furnishings , a Madonna and Child from the 15th century is particularly worth mentioning, which is also classified as a monument historique.
