August von Gemmingen (1829–1909)

Baron August von Gemmingen (born November 9, 1829 , † 1909 ) was the Imperial and Royal Chamberlain and landlord in Michelfeld .

Life

He was a son of Ernst von Gemmingen (1794–1838) and Charlotte Anna Maria von Horneck (1800–1863). He entered the regiment of the Schwarzenberg Hussars and became an imperial-royal chamberlain and major . He inherited the property in Michelfeld from his father, who died young, where he had Michelfeld Castle modernized in 1873 . From 1865 to 1868 August von Gemmingen was a member of the First Chamber of the Baden Estates Assembly as a representative of the manorial nobility below the Murg .

In 1861 he married Anna von Berzeviczy-Bercevicze (1838–1906).
