August Lambert Rospatt , von Rospatt since 1909 (born February 9, 1869 in Lennep , † May 29, 1942 in Prittisch ) was a German administrative officer, manor owner and member of parliament.

Life

He was the son of the Prussian administrative officer Lambert Rospatt . After high school studied Rospatt at the University of Bonn law . In 1889 he became a member of the Corps Palatia Bonn . After completing his studies and doctorate as Dr. jur. he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1896 to 1903 he was a government assessor in Schlochau and Posen . In 1898 he married Trude Schulz-Boossen.

In 1903, Rospatt was appointed District Administrator of the Birnbaum district. During his tenure, he played a key role in the construction of a dam and was raised to hereditary nobility on March 22, 1909 . He held the office until the district was handed over to Poland in early 1920. In the following years he lived on his manor Prittisch, which he had inherited from his in-laws.

He was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .
