Augusten Burroughs
Augusten Xon Burroughs (actually Christopher Robison , born October 23, 1965 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania , USA ) is an American writer and journalist , best known for his autobiographical bestseller "Running with Scissors" (2002, "Krass!") , which was filmed as Krass in Germany.
Burroughs is the son of author Margaret Robison and former Dean of the University of Massachusetts Amherst School of Arts, John G. Robison. He lives in New York and Amherst, Massachusetts.
