Augustin Bernhauser

Augustin Bernhauser (born March 19, 1928 in Arbesbach ; † May 7, 2004 in Vienna ) was an Austrian geologist and paleontologist .

Life

Bernhauser in 1951 at the University of Vienna Dr. phil. PhD . He worked as a geologist in the soil appraisal of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry . As a paleontologist, he dealt with boring plant microorganisms and histology .

In 1986 he received the Golden Decoration of Honor for Services to the Republic of Austria
