Augustus Edward Dixon
Augustus Edward Dixon (* 1861 in Belfast , Ireland; † March 3, 1946 in Sidcup , England) was an Irish chemist.
He studied at Trinity College (Dublin) , where he obtained his AB in 1881 and his MB and MD in 1885, and in Berlin . In 1889 he became professor of chemistry at Queen's College, Galway . From 1891 until his retirement in 1924 he was Professor of Chemistry at Queen's College in Cork .
