Aurora Ximenes (born June 13, 1955 in Samalari , Baguia , Portuguese Timor ) is a politician from East Timor . She is a member of the FRETILIN party .

Ximenes studied public administration and was later employed by an authority. From 2012 to 2017 she was a member of the National Parliament of East Timor . She was a member of the Commission on Constitutional Affairs, Justice, Public Administration, Local Jurisprudence and Anti-Corruption (Commission A). In the 2017 elections , it was no longer included on the FRETILIN electoral list.

Ximenes has been a member of the State Council since 2018 .
