Avanti! Avanti! is a German-language Italian language course in the form of a multi-part television series produced by BR in 1978 . The series consists of two seasons, of which the first (13 episodes) teaches the basics of the Italian language using number programs with clowns and Commedia-dell'arte scenes. In the second season, the lives of famous Italians are portrayed in a parodic way. The series is moderated by Ima Agustoni . The program is broadcast by ARD-alpha .

In 1985 Ima Agustoni, Horst G. Weise and Rüdiger Graf received the bronze Adolf Grimme Prize for the series .
