Ima Agustoni

Ima Agustoni , real name Amelia Agustoni-Troni (born November 10, 1935 in Chiavenna ; † March 22, 2017 in Vienna ), was an Italian actress , presenter and author .

She became known as the moderator and author of the Italian language course Avanti! Avanti! , which was produced by BR in 1978 and was broadcast on the third television programs of ARD . For this she received the Adolf Grimme Prize with bronze on March 22, 1985 together with Horst G. Weise and Rüdiger Graf . She also writes Italian textbooks. She also starred in crime series such as Eichberger's special cases , Derrick and Police Inspectorate 1 . In 1965 she was one of the first to develop an Italian course for German television with the series “Benvenuti in Italia”. This was followed by the children's books "Ciao Amici" in 1969 and "Holiday diary of Alexander, Karoline & Co." in 1972.

Life

In the sixties she came to Munich and met the SZ editor Horst Uhlmann. She married him in 1965. The marriage was short-lived, but the friendship between the two lasted until Horst Uhlmann's death. In 1970 Ima married Umberto Troni, actor and long-time assistant to Giorgio Strehler at the Piccolo Teatro di Milano. He played several roles on her broadcasts. Ima lived with Umberto in Milan, Munich and Venice. Her most intimate friends included Vittorio Basaglia, Luigi Nono , Cesare Demichelis and Anselm Bilgri . Both worked as city guides in Venice. Among other things, Ima led the German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder through the lagoon city.

Since 2011, Ima has lived mainly in the Austrian capital. She has had a long-standing fascination with Vienna since her successful protest against the Brenner Base Tunnel together with the then Federal Chancellor Bruno Kreisky .
