The Aver See is a lake in the Penzlin district of Ave in the Mecklenburg Lake District . The eponymous town of Ave is on its west bank, and federal highway 192 runs about 400 meters to the north . The lake has a north-south extension of about 370 meters and a west-east extension of about 190 meters. The water drains into the Krummenflutbach in the east. The lake shore is swampy, completely forested and overgrown with reeds.
