The Caarpsee is a lake in the Boek district in the municipality of Rechlin in the Mecklenburg Lake District . It lies between the larger Woterfitzsee and the fish ponds between Rechlin and Boek, about two kilometers east of the Müritz . The lake has a north-south extension of about 1100 meters and a west-east extension of about 300 meters.
The lake lies within the maintenance zone of the Müritz National Park and may therefore only be crossed along the buoy from the Bolter Canal to the Woterfitzsee. Motor boats are not permitted on the Caarpsee.
