Avondale House has been vacant since 1990 at the latest, when it was entered on the Scottish Register of Endangered Listed Buildings. At that time, a caretaker looked after the building full-time. His condition was last described in 2011 as poor with moderate risk.

stables

Avondale House's stables are 150 meters southwest of the manor house. They are classified as a category B individual monument. Like Avondale House, they are in neo-Gothic style and date from the early 19th century and thus from the redesign phase of the manor house. The high gateways to the enclosed inner courtyard are made with pointed arches. Battlements crown the quarry stone outer walls. The roofs are covered with slate shingles. In 1995 it was entered on the register of endangered listed buildings in Scotland. The condition was last classified as very poor with moderate risk in 2011. In April 2013, parts of the structure collapsed as a result of a storm.

Folly

The Folly of Avondale House is located on a slight hill about 300 m south-southwest of the manor house. It is classified as a category B individual monument. It is a small pavilion with a square floor plan. Towers rise from every building edge. The Folly is seemingly reinforced with a crenellated parapet. Today the roof collapsed and the condition of the building is in ruins.
