Chikage Awashima
Chikage Awashima ( Japanese 淡 島 千 景 , Awashima Chikage , nickname: O-Keichan ( お け い ち ゃ ん ); born February 24, 1924 in Tokyo ; died February 16, 2012 in Tokyo) was a Japanese actress .
Life
Awashima began her career as a female actress in the Takarazuka Revue , which she left as a top actress in 1950 and moved to the film producer Shōchiku . She radiated a good mood and at the same time impressed with her representational power.
With Ozu she, who knew Michiyo Kogure , who played under him, from school, only had supporting roles, but she designed them with great care.
