Axel Wilhelm Ekblom (born March 22, 1893 in Sankt Ibb , † July 26, 1957 in Borås ) was a Swedish sports shooter .
successes
Axel Ekblom took part in the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris in three disciplines. In the competition on the running deer in double shots he won the bronze medal with Mauritz Johansson , Fredric Landelius and Alfred Swahn in the team competition behind the British and Norwegian teams. Ekblom was the team's weakest shooter with 46 points. In the trap he did not get beyond 16th place in the individual competition, while he just missed another medal win with the team in fourth. In 1937 he won the bronze medal with the trap team at the World Championships in Helsinki .
