Axel Eriksson (athlete)

Axel Eriksson ( Artur Johan Axel Eriksson; born April 14, 1903 in Stockholm ; † February 26, 1960 ibid.) Was a Swedish long-distance runner .

At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924 he was eighth over 5000 m and retired with the Swedish team in the run-up to the 3000-meter team race .

He set his personal best over 5000 m of 15: 12.8 min on August 20, 1927 in Stockholm .
