Axel Preuss (born February 4, 1947 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
The midfielder Axel Preuss rose in 1971 with the SVA Gütersloh in the then second-class Regionalliga West . Three years later Preuss missed qualifying for the newly created 2nd Bundesliga with the SVA . In 1975 Preuss became Westphalian runner-up with the Güterslohern and came third at the German Amateur Championship . Axel Preuss played 65 regional league games for SVA Gütersloh and scored two goals.
