Bahodir Jalolov (* 8. July 1994 in Sariosiyo ) is an Uzbek boxers in the super heavyweight .
Amateur career
The approximately 1.98 m tall super heavyweight started boxing in 2008 and became Uzbek champion in 2013 and 2014. He then won several international tournaments, including the Chemistry Cup 2015 in Germany with victories against Florian Schulz , Song Hwa Pyong and Max Keller.
At the Asian Championships in 2015 he was defeated in the quarterfinals against Ivan Dytschko . He also took part in the 2015 World Championships in Doha and won a bronze medal after only being knocked out in the semifinals against Dychko. In the Asian Olympic qualification in China in April 2016, he finished second.
At the 2016 Olympics , he was eliminated in the quarter-finals against Joseph Joyce . In May 2017 he won the Asian Championships in Uzbekistan. He was qualified for the 2017 World Championships in Hamburg , where he was eliminated in the quarter-finals.
In 2019 he won the Asian Championships in Thailand and the World Championships in Russia.
Professional career
He won his professional debut on May 5, 2018 in the USA against Hugo Trujillo.
