Asian Championships in Boxing 2019
The 30th Asian Boxing Championships took place from April 16 to 27, 2019 in the Huamark Stadium in the Thai capital Bangkok . After 1963, 1973, 1985, 1991, 1992 and 2015, the city hosted the Asian Boxing Championships for the seventh time. 192 male and 112 female boxers from 34 nations took part, which was a record for the number of participants. In addition, the men's and women's continental championships were held together for the first time.
The championship was organized by the national boxing association TBA , which belongs to the continental boxing association ASBC , the Asian branch of the world association AIBA . The delegations were accommodated in the Golden Tulip Sovereign Hotel.
