Hu Jianguan (* 11. May 1993 ) is a Chinese boxer in the flyweight .

Career

Hu became the Chinese Champion in 2015 and won two of four fights in Season V of the World Series of Boxing . He started at the 2015 World Championships in Doha and was able to advance to the semi-finals, where he was eliminated by Yosvany Veitía and won a bronze medal. In the Asian Olympic qualification in 2016, he reached second place and was therefore eligible to compete in the 2016 Olympic Games .

In June 2016 he finished second in the Cuban "Giraldo Cordova Cardin Tournament". He had defeated Julião Neto , Luis Correoso and David Jiménez before he was knocked out 1: 2 in the final against Leonel de los Santos . At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , he won against Selçuk Eker , Narek Abgaryan and Yosvany Veitía before he was eliminated in the semifinals against Michail Alojan with a bronze medal.

He won a bronze medal at the 2019 Asian Championships in Bangkok and was a participant in the 2019 World Championships .
