Ayuí / Tacuabé is a Uruguayan record label .

It was founded in 1971 by a group of artists around Pepe Guerra , Daniel Viglietti , Coriún Aharonián , Braulio López , Myriam Dibarboure , María Teresa Sande and Edgardo Bello . The names Ayuí and Tacuabé each stand for different contents. While Musica popular , radio plays and poetry are published under the former , art music appears under the latter .

Los Olimareños , Agustín Carlevaro , Héctor Tosar , Juan Capagorry , Milton Schinca and the comedian Wimpi were among the first artists to publish on Ayuí / Tacuabé . Later, in addition to a large number of other musicians from the Uruguayan Canto popular genre , artists such as Mariana Ingold , Jaime Roos , Los que Iban Cantando , Rubén Rada , Leo Maslíah and Carlos Canzani's group Aguaragua followed .
