The Azarashi Rock ( Norwegian Selsteinen ) is a bare rock on the Prince Harald Coast in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It rises on the east side of the estuary of the Shirase Glacier in the Cosmonaut Sea .
He was mapped and photographed by participants in the Japanese Antarctic Expedition, which lasted from 1957 to 1962, and who named him Azarashi-iwa ( ア ザ ラ シ 岩 , seal rock ' ).
