Azevo is a locality and former municipality in northern Portugal .

Azevo was the seat of an independent municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Pinhel . 195 inhabitants live in the former municipal area (as of June 30, 2011).
As part of the administrative reorganization in Portugal in 2013 , the municipality of Azevo was dissolved on September 29, 2013 and merged with the municipality of Cidadelhe to form the new municipality of Vale do Côa . The seat of the new parish was Azevo.
