The Azimuth Hill (English for Azimuth Hill ) is a 25 m high hill on the East Antarctic George V coast . It rises 230 m west-northwest of the largest of the Mawson's Huts from a ridge extending from there in a north-westerly direction .
The Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson named the hill in the course of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition he led (1911-1914). This designation has been officially recognized by the Antarctic Names Committee of Australia since 1991 .
