Børre Erik Falkum-Hansen (born August 13, 1919 in Kristiania , today Oslo, † June 24, 2006 ibid) was a Norwegian sailor .
successes
Børre Falkum-Hansen took part in the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki alongside Vibeke Lunde as a crew member of helmsman Peder Lunde senior in the 5.5 mR class . In their boat Encore they took second place with 5325 total points behind the US and in front of the Swedish boat, with which they won the silver medal.
His father Halfdan Hansen was also a sailor and won an Olympic gold medal in the 12-meter class in 1912.
