Büşra Katipoğlu

Büşra Katipoğlu (born January 17, 1992 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish judoka. She took part in the 2016 Olympic Games for Turkey .

Career

She was nominated by the Türkiye Milli Olimpiyat Komitesi for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and was allowed to compete in the judo competition in the light middleweight division . After she had defeated Katerina Nikoloska in the first round , she met the French Clarisse Agbegnenou in the second round and lost this fight against the later silver medalist.
