Playwright

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A playwright written literary works, " theater scripts " at the spectacle and " libretti " the musical theater which are sold as a basis for production of stage works serve.

The playwright's script is usually edited by the dramaturge and serves as a template for the director . In music theater, the playwright is also called a librettist . Composers often write their own libretti for their compositions .

While several academies offer training and further education for the profession of TV and screenwriter, separate courses for playwrights are rare. The Berlin University of the Arts offers a course in "Scenic Writing" which some successful playwrights have completed. For some years now, writing courses have been increasingly offered, but stage authors are not required to attend. Accordingly, there is no specific entry requirement for the profession.
