Citizen medal of the city of Aschaffenburg

The citizen medal of the city of Aschaffenburg is awarded to personalities who have made a contribution to the good or reputation of the city. It was first awarded in 2001.

According to the statutes of August 28, 2000, “the citizen's medal ... can be awarded a maximum of twice a year. The mayor and city council members are entitled to submit proposals. "

The award takes place in a solemn form in a public session of the city council with the handover of the certificate and the citizen's medal.
