The Evinghoven office , which was the mayor's office of Evinghoven until 1927 , was an office in the Grevenbroich district in the Rhine Province and in North Rhine-Westphalia .

history

The mayor's office in Evinghoven was founded in 1816 . It consisted of the three official municipalities of Hoeningen - with the villages of Hoeningen, Widdeshoven , Ramrath and Villau -, Oekoven - with the villages of Oekoven, Deelen, Ueckinghoven and Evinghoven - and Broich . In 1927 the mayor's office was renamed Amt Evinghoven. In 1938 Broich was incorporated into the Gohr community in the Nievenheim district . On December 31, 1974 the Evinghoven office was dissolved and incorporated into the municipality of Rommerskirchen .

Population and area

On June 30, 1974 the office had 2,828 inhabitants on 18.77 km² and thus a population density of 151 inhabitants per km².
