Citizens Party MV the initiative for Mecklenburg and Western Pomerania
The citizens' party MV the Initiative for Mecklenburg and Western Pomerania , BMV for short , was a small party founded in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2002 . It took part in the state elections on September 22, 2002 and received 2,930 votes (0.3%). On May 20, 2006 it merged with the party Alliance for MV .
Alliance for MV
The alliance for MV was founded on November 5, 2005 by several municipal elected officials. The first chairman was Klaus-Dieter Gabbert . In the state elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2006 , ex- PDS member Sybille Bachmann was the party's top candidate. The party received 3,547 votes (0.4%).
The Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Association of Free Voters emerged from the alliance for MV . This achieved 7,782 votes (1.1%) in the 2011 state elections .
