The BB Brunes are a French rock group. They form part of the Nouvelle scène rock française , a renewal movement that had its roots primarily in the Emergenza Festival . According to the music review of the magazine Le Figaro , the band was instrumental in 2007 for "a new generation", their "uninhibited and nervous rock" was "classic and new at the same time".
history
In 2001, childhood friends Adrien Gallo, Karim Réveillé and Raphaël Delorme founded the band Les Hangover , which sang their songs exclusively in English . When Raphaël Delorme left the group after signing a contract with a record label , the remaining members were looking for a new guitarist and recorded Félix Hemmen after a concert. In 2007 bassist Berald Crambes joined the band as the fourth member.
The BB Brunes performed for the first time in May 2005 at the Paris Club Le Gibus , where they played on the “rock'n'roll Friday” with other young talents. A year later her first single was released with the title Le Gang , followed by the album, Blonde comme moi and two more singles in 2007, as well as a new recording of Blonde comme moi with some bonuses such as background images.
The name of the band comes from the song Initials BB by Serge Gainsbourg and the name of the Boulevard Brune in Paris - Karim Réveillé and Adrien Gallo lived near this boulevard.
