history

The BC Efferen was founded on December 26th 1920, making it the oldest football club in the region of today's Huerth. After the Second World War the Efferenians began their sporting ascent. In 1947 the BC Efferen rose to the district league and in 1952 even to the state league . The team of the BC Efferen thus played in the then highest amateur league of German football, but could only stay at this level for two years. As early as 1959, the team was promoted to the national league and in 1962 the team was promoted to the association league , but also four years later. This started a decline that led the BC Efferen into the county league .
