Board ( American-English pronunciation [ bɔːɹd ]) is software for Business Intelligence (BI), Corporate Performance Management (CPM) and Analytics . It has been developed by the Swiss manufacturer Board International since its market launch in 1994 .

The software follows a principle marketed as a “toolkit approach” and is therefore often referred to as a “ board toolkit ”. This approach is characterized by the fact that end users and power users or administrators use the same graphical user interface . This means that BI / CPM / Analytics applications are set up, expanded and administered in the same software and do not require any programming .
