BSC Sachsen Oberbärenburg

The Bob Skeleton Club Oberbärenburg is a Saxon sports club that unites competitive athletes in bobsleigh and skeleton in the Altenberg district of Oberbärenburg .

history

Until the summer of 2015, two successful clubs in the field of bobsleigh and skeleton existed in Saxony for several years with the BRC Riesa and the SC Oberbärenburg . However, the common training facility was and is the Altenberg racing sledge and bobsleigh track near Altenberg . In order to bundle the competitive sports activities, the BSC Sachsen Oberbärenburg was founded in summer 2015. He is the successor to BRC Riesa and took on the bobsleigh division of SC Oberbärenburg. Well-known no longer active members are the four-man Olympic champion from 1994 Harald Czudaj , the multiple world champion Cathleen Martini , the former four-man European champion Matthias Benesch and the former BSD vice president Rainer M. Jacobus .
